What is Sonicaura MCP?
Sonicaura MCP connects your AI client to Sonicaura Studio's audio processing engine. Instead of opening a DAW or a web app, you describe what you want in plain language and the agent handles the rest — upload, separation, and retrieval.
It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, and WorkBuddy through the Model Context Protocol.
What it can do
- Stem separation — split a track into 2, 4, or 6 stems (vocals, instrumental, drums, bass, and more).
- Vocal removal — strip the vocals and keep the instrumental.
- Vocal isolation — keep the vocals and drop the background music.
- Background noise reduction — clean up recordings with ambient noise.
How to connect
Sonicaura MCP uses OAuth, so there is no API key to copy. Add the server URL in your client's MCP settings:
https://api.sonicaurastudio.com/mcp
Then complete the OAuth sign-in when prompted. Setup guides for each client are available at sonicaurastudio.com/mcp.
Example prompts
- "Separate the vocals from this podcast clip and remove the background music."
- "Split this song into 2 stems: vocals and instrumental."
- "Denoise this interview recording."
Your AI client calls the right tools automatically based on what you ask for.
Requirements
- An AI client that supports MCP (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, or WorkBuddy).
- A free Sonicaura account for OAuth sign-in.
