CurlShot Screenshot MCP Server

CurlShot runs a hosted Model Context Protocol server for its screenshot API, so there is nothing to install: point your MCP client at https://curlshot.com/api/mcp and add your API key as a Bearer token.

Tools

• take_screenshot: renders a public web page and returns it as an image, a PDF, or a video of the page scrolling. Arguments include url, format (png, jpeg, webp, pdf, mp4, webm, gif), full_page, viewport_device, viewport_width/height, dark_mode, block_ads, block_cookie_banners, selector, wait_until, delay and cache.
• list_devices: lists the phone, tablet and desktop presets accepted in viewport_device (no key needed).

Small results come back inline as an image the model can see; results over 6 MB come back as a download link.

Use cases

• Let an agent look at a page it is working on (layout checks, visual QA)
• Capture pages as PDF for research notes or archiving
• Check how a site renders on phones and tablets
